For the IMA BFB Division, we are looking for a Production Planner.
IMA BFB specializes in the design and manufacturing of end-of-line secondary packaging machines and complete packaging lines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries.
Location: Bentivoglio, Italy.
The Role
- Take ownership of orders resulting from the sale of machines or complete production lines, performing operational and planning analyses to identify project requirements and ensure compliance with scheduled timelines.
- Gather and manage all technical and commercial information (custom-designed components, specifications, materials, etc.) required to support the correct assembly of machines within agreed deadlines.
- Manage and maintain relationships with external suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for activity coordination and material procurement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Project Management, Assembly Department, Engineering, and other functions) to ensure an efficient and consistent workflow throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Issue and manage purchase orders for components, monitoring progress and ensuring alignment with production requirements.
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including material requirements analysis and availability monitoring.
- Ensure materials are available for picking activities and provide support to internal operational processes.
Experience & Skills
- 2 to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role, preferably in project-based logistics management or purchasing (Buyer) within a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
What Will Set You Apart
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and accuracy skills.
- Effective teamwork abilities and strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate across multiple functions and departments.
Compensation Package
The starting gross annual salary (RAL) will be €34,000, under the provisions of the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry.
A higher compensation package may be offered based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
