For the IMA BFB Division, we are looking for a Purchasing and Contract Management Specialist.
IMA BFB designs and manufactures end-of-line secondary packaging machines and complete packaging lines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food industries.

Location: Bentivoglio, Italy

 

The Role

 

  • Manage the entire procurement process supporting production activities, with a particular focus on creating Purchase Requisitions (PRs), issuing and monitoring Purchase Orders (POs), verifying order confirmations, and maintaining ongoing communication with external suppliers.
  • Handle the administrative and operational management of contracts and related purchase orders.
  • Periodically review the hours reported by internal departments (Engineering, Assembly, etc.) and ensure the correct allocation of associated costs.
  • Collaborate with various departments (Controlling, Engineering, Assembly, Sales, etc.) to monitor orders, perform data analysis, and support monthly production order closing activities, ensuring the proper progress of all related tasks.

 

Experience & Skills

 
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, monitoring, and management activities.

 

What Will Set You Apart

 

  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, especially in handling administrative and operational tasks.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.

 

Compensation Package

 
The starting gross annual salary will be €34,000, in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with the possibility of an increase based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in compliance with objective and gender-neutral criteria.
