IMA LIFE, a division specialized in the design and manufacturing of machines and complete lines for the processing of liquids and powders in aseptic environments, is looking for an Mechanical Designer

Location: Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna), Italy.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Design automatic machines in compliance with Annex 1 regulations and the requirements of the aseptic pharmaceutical industry.
  • Perform mechanical design activities in accordance with project timelines and company standards; prepare and maintain machine bills of materials (BOMs) and related documentation in line with company policies.
  • Support the definition and implementation of machine safety requirements.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities for new assemblies, components, and functionalities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with other departments within the division.

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or an equivalent qualification).
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation and primary packaging environments.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical automatic machinery industry.Basic engineering knowledge, including materials, mechanisms, tolerances, heat treatments, and surface treatments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within structured teams and on complex projects.
  • Sufficient knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of 3D and 2D CAD software (PTC Creo and AutoCAD).

Descrizione breve

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) will be €36.000, under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria), with the possibility of salary increases based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
