For the IMA ACTIVE Division, we are looking for an ELECTRICAL HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER.

IMA ACTIVE operates in the field of machinery and systems for the processing and dosing of solid oral pharmaceuticals.

JOB SUMMARY

• Design and select hardware components for the electrical and automation systems of new machine functions, assemblies, and machine parts, based on applicable requirements and customer specifications, while ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Contribute to the selection of technical solutions and devices to be adopted, in line with applicable requirements and the strategic guidelines defined by the Division and the Company.
• Provide the correct design and implementation guidelines for the electrical bill of materials and related electrical schematics of automatic machines. This activity is carried out in collaboration with mechanical and software engineering colleagues under the coordination of the department manager.
• Participate in working groups dedicated to risk assessments, with a particular focus on machine safety development and compliance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial automation sector, including industrial plants, electrical panels, and industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of EPLAN electrical CAD software.

The initial gross annual salary will be €45,000, in accordance with the Italian Metalworking Industry Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria), with the possibility of an increase based on the candidate's experience and competencies, in line with objective and gender-neutral evaluation criteria.
