For the Quality & Compliance Department at IMA SpA, we are seeking a Technical Compliance Specialist.

The Quality & Compliance Department is responsible for providing advice and support to the technical departments of the various divisions in interpreting and analyzing the technical aspects of regulations.

 

Work Location: Ozzano dell’Emilia (BO)

The Role

 

  • Study and interpret the technical aspects of regulations related to machinery, in support of the technical design departments;
  • Analyze regulations related to the safety of automated machinery in order to draft safety regulations and other technical guidelines, and to update internal guidelines;
  • Provide on-site support to the Safety Engineers in the Group’s various Business Units for technical compliance consulting activities.

Experience & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Automation Engineering, Power Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.);
  • 5 years of prior work experience in similar roles related to product standardization and safety;
  • Attention to detail, a strong interest in, and aptitude for, studying and analyzing technical regulations;
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
  • Willingness to travel frequently to various Group locations, both in the province of Bologna and throughout Italy, for short periods of time.

  • Experience in the automatic machinery industry, or more generally in metalworking and manufacturing sectors;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to engage in dialogue and work with diverse teams.

 

Compensation Package

 

The initial gross annual salary will be €42,000, in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking Industry, with the possibility of an increase based on the candidate’s experience and skills, in accordance with objective and gender-neutral criteria.
