Who we Are
For IMA CONFECTIONARY, we are looking for a Traveling Mechanical Assembler within the Automation sector.
IMA CONFECTIONARY is the division specialized in the design and manufacture of machinery and complete production lines for the confectionery industry.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the assembly, installation, and testing of machines and complete production lines.
- Performing the assembly and testing of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, following technical drawings and schematics provided by the Engineering Department.
- Carrying out plant validation tests during the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) phase in collaboration with the electrical assembly team, and supporting FAT activities in the presence of customers.
- Installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites worldwide, performing SAT (Site Acceptance Test) and validation testing in the same manner as during the FAT phase.
- Providing after-sales support, including repairs, maintenance, installation of additional units (GR), spare parts replacement, and customer training on the equipment.
Experience & Skills
- Technical educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Approximately 4-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly roles, preferably within companies manufacturing automated machinery and equipment.
- Good command of the English language.
- Excellent ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings.
- Availability for frequent national and international business travel of medium to long duration (approximately 100 days per year).
- Strong ability to collaborate with different technical departments, including Engineering and Project Management.
- Interest in innovation and continuous improvement within research projects and automation technologies.
